Old Home Season continues Tuesday for Sterling Gibbs vs. Texas
Sterling Gibbs has already played against the team with whom he originally signed a national letter-of-intent (Maryland), as well as the team he chose UConn over as a graduate transfer (Ohio State).
Next up: playing against the program for whom he played as a freshman (Texas), when the Huskies face the Longhorns in Austin on Tuesday night. There were no hard feelings about his departure from Texas on either side and, in fact, remains in contact with former UT head coach Rick Barnes (who's now at Tennessee).
Is it inevitable UConn somehow faces Seton Hall, the team for whom Gibbs played for two seasons, in the NCAA tournament? (Or, dare I say, the NIT)?
