I always assume readers of this blog are interested in local basketball stories that extend beyond solely UConn. With that in mind, I present to you my story on New Haven's Keith Cothran, the former URI star who was shot in the head less than two months ago. Cothran is already back playing basketball, and looking pretty good in the Greater Hartford Pro-Am.



Anyway, it's somewhat of a cautionary tale about the violence of New Haven's inner-city -- something Cothran knows all too much about.
