Kemba a Cousy Finalist

Here are the 20 finalists for the 2011 Bob Cousy Award, presented annually to the nation's top point guard. Kemba's gotta be the favorite still, but Jimmer is closing the gap pretty fast.

Does the fact that Jimmer plays in a mediocre conference hurt his POY candidacy? I mean if he played in the Big East would he get nearly the same PPG as he does now?

Possibly ... but the Mountain West is pretty good this year: San Diego State, BYU and UNLV are all legit good. And Fredette is a really good player who will likely lead the nation in scoring while playing for a top-15 team.
