From rivals.com:
"Yes, yes I would commit (if offered by UConn)."
Bell is a 6'7 power forward
from California who holds offers from several Division 1 college programs,
including: Alabama, St. John's, Texas, San Diego State, Hawaii, Memphis,
Virginia Tech, San Jose State, San Francisco, Nevada, Oklahoma, and every Pac-12
program besides Utah and Stanford.
His game is based on timing, athleticism,
and grit. Jordan is an exceptional rebounder and shot-blocker, and is a tough
mismatch for opposing teams because of how well he runs the floor for a post
player.
So what makes a kid from Long
Beach so attracted to going to school on the opposite coast? The UConn
tradition.
"UConn is my dream school.
They have a great coaching staff, I love their defense, and their offensive
sets. Plus school-wise and academically -- it's just a great school," he said.
Ah yes, the whole "dream school" thing. We've heard that before. But it seems Bell is pretty high on UConn, and would seem to be a great fit in Storrs.
