Is this going to hurt us in terms of our recruitment of Joseph, Knight, and Selby??? Also, where would this leave us as far as scholarships available for Doron Lamb, Joseph, Selby, Knight CJ Leslie, and Luke Cothron???

By my count, they're already at the limit: Beverly, Okwandu, Mandeldove, Walker, Trice, Smith, Oriakhi, Coombs-McDaniel, Majok, Olander, Smith, Lamb and Bradley equals 13. Now, plenty still can happen: I'm expecting at least one if not two transfers, and I don't believe the Mandeldove situation is completely squared away yet. I know UConn isn't worried about not being able to add another recruit or two.

Fair enough...but signing a PG at this point in the recruiting procees can not help us as far as the potential committmens of Knight, Selby, or Joseph. I believe that Knight is essentially a lock for Kentucky, and Selby is a strong KU lean. that being siad, I think UConn is a very reasonable landing spot for Cory Joseph and I would hate to think that bringing in Napier would eliminate us from his recruitment. thoughts?

I'm loathe to comment too much on recruits because I honestly don't know the entire situation and certainly don't know what the kids are thinking. All I'll say is I agree with you: Knight looks like a long, long shot for UConn, and Joseph is probably the best bet.

I think it's good that he's coming early because joseph was going to uconn or minnesota. And i think he ends up in minnesota.
