Josh Selby was unable to make his slated visit to UConn for today's game. "Car trouble," we're told.
The Huskies do have a recruit in the house, however: Shabazz Napier, a 5-foot-10 guard out of Boston. He's listed as a Class of 2011 by scout.com, but apparently he's in his fifth year of school, so he could be ready to enroll in college next fall.
Dave. "car trouble" sounds kind of fishy. Don't recruits get reimbursed for official visits, why not get a rental car? Is Uconn still in the mix for selby or is this a sign they arent really being considered?
ReplyDeleteAgreed, sounds very fishy. Without any knowledge either way, I would have to say it's not a good sign for UConn.
ReplyDeleteHey Dave-
ReplyDeleteAny update on Brandon Knight? I read today on zagsblog.com that he is close to a decision. Does Uconn have a chance with him, or is he likely bound for UK as Zagsblog had reported a few weeks ago.
This kid Shabazz Napier is a someone teams need to pay close attention to. He's not nationally known yet, but watch out!! I almost guarantee he's better than half of the guys Uconn is hoping to get still! If you know anything about high school basketball then you'd agree! This guy is "BIG TIME"!
ReplyDeleteSports is being associated in our daily lives. We have basketball, soccer, baseball and many other kinds of games. This describes that we are fond of playing games. Some people do that as their recreation in life. One thing I love is biking. In fact, I joined the association of bikers in Washington.Bicyclists have become one of the industrial worlds' fastest growing and most annoying minorities, and they recently got Google to add Google Maps for bicyclists. Yes, pushing those pedals might keep you alive longer than someone else – except the years you'll be living longer for are the kidney losing, hip breaking, and rotting cabbage smell, nursing home years. Spending multiple payday loans worth on a bike that isn't a Harley or an Indian doesn't exactly seem the brightest idea in the world. Besides, didn't your mother tell you to leave your toys at home?
