Ted Taigen, UConn's academic advisor for the past 16 years, was honored prior to today's game with a brief ceremony at midcourt.

Taigen, who will be ending his tenure as academic advisor soon, was presented with a framed UConn jersey No. 16 (for his years of service) by Jim Calhoun. The entire UConn team also came out to midcourt and embraced Taigen.

We're hearing Taigen will be replaced by Felicia Crump.
